Supercars are all the rage at this year’s Scottsdale auctions. From top marques such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche to rare beauties like Koenigsegg, there is sure to be a dream car for everyone.
The 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has 689 horsepower, with a 20-mile all-electric driving range. That applies to your choice of three body styles: sedan, long-wheelbase Executive sedan, and Sport Turismo semi-wagon. Pricning has not been announced, but those numbers will be greater than $190k for the 2020 versions.
Lamborghini and Porsche both released their third-quarter sales. The Macan, Cayenne and Taycan dominated at Porsche. Meanwhile, Lamborghini sold over 738 vehicles worldwide, it’s best September to date.
In 1964, Porsche introduced the 904 Carrera GTS for competition. It was a more focused track machine with an eye on FIA GT racing, and had immediate racing success. This model put Porsche on an endurance racing path that would culminate with its first Le Mans overall wins with the astounding 917 racers in 1970 and 1971.
