Vintage Rallies will be postponing their New England 1000 Rally until May 2021, but plan to host two rallies, Mountain Mille and Texas 1000, this fall. Hear all about the famous and exciting past participants, from country music star Alan Jackson to Keith Martin of Sports Car Market, along with all of the amazing past rally locations.
The Mille Miglia is a transcendent and transformative experience. When you are driving down a narrow road on top a ridge in Tuscany, with valleys stretching below on either side and the smell of the farms on the air coming into the car it’s easy to forget city traffic jams and overheating 65 year old cars.
The Mille Miglia “Storica’ brings out some of the most extraordinary cars in the world. In order to be considered for entry, the car itself must have actually run in the Mille Miglia when new, between 1927 to 1940 or 1947 to 1957 or be the exact year and model of the car that ran in the original events.
There are arguably a score of excellent multi-day vintage rally and tour events held around the world each year, many held in wonderful places with terrific roads and contested by exciting and beautiful cars. However, it can be definitively declared that all the rest exist as a tribute to the greatest historic driving event of them all, the historic Mille Miglia of Italy.
