Meet the Maserati MC20, Maserati’s first mid-engine supercar in four decades. The car will have two versions, one with a roaring internal combustion engine, and the other equipped with a humming electric. The gas version of the MC20 arrives in 2021 and the EV in 2022. There’s no hybrid, but there will be coupe and convertible variants.
The Lamborghini Jalpa revamped the basic Urraco platform, keeping the Silhouette’s two-seat, targa-roof layout. Originally priced at $60,000 in 1980, one sold at RM Sotheby’s Palm Beach online auction for $99,000. With just 410 made and 100 sent to the U.S., it’s not something you normally see at a Cars and Coffee.
Just 485 Maserati Mexico’s made, powered by Maserati’s racecar-derived V8 engine and offered with a choice of five-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmissions. RM Sotheby’s Scottsdale auction is offering one of the earliest Mexicos made, the 13th built. The pre-sale estimate is $125,000-$175,000.
