An unrestored 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S is coming to market from a primarily single-family ownership. It is going up for auction in London on Thursday, October 24th, and expecting to fetch between $1 to $2 million.
25 supercars and luxury models were confiscated by Swiss authorities from Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue and sold at Bonhams auction in Switzerland last month.
At the Frankfurt Auto Show in September, Lamborghini unveiled a new hybrid supercar called Sian, to be built in a run of just 63 cars with total output of 819 horsepower. However, Lamborghini made sure not to “destroy the DNA of a car and brand” when making it electric. It’s still a Lamborghini.
The Lamborghini Miura veritably defined 1960s sports car beauty. Its successor, the utterly unique Lamborghini Countach, introduced “brutal” to the equation and became a landmark supercar design.
