Every January, Arizona’s dry, salt-free climate brings automotive enthusiasts from around the world to Scottsdale for a week of shows, auctions, and seminars. As the first major event on the collector car calendar, Scottsdale showcases a quality of cars rarely seen off of a concours green.
Looking back on the first five weeks of classic car auction sales in 2016, the immortal words of Mr. Dickens come to mind. Depending on which sale to which you consigned your car and what your car was, it was either the best of times or very much the worst of times.
Offering more than ten days of exotic car viewings, rallies, races and other go-to events, this is not an event to miss. One of the most prestigious events of the week will be the Gooding & Company Pebble Beach Auction, to be held on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, and offering over 120 premium vehicles.
