Closing in on the end of another year, Premier Financial Services looks back on its Top-10 exotic cars leased for 2023. This year, Ferrari pushed Porsche out of the #1 leased marque for the year in terms of volume of leases. Lamborghini, however, made a stronger showing on the list with three models in the Top-10. Porsche’s two top sports cars, the 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo S, both made the cut, as well. With its new MC20, Maserati has returned to the mid-engine exotic category after a 45-year absence. You knew it was coming. Ferrari’s introduction of the 488 Pista Spider at Pebble Beach this August followed the coupe version introduced last March. It’s been Ferrari’s pattern to offer stripped-down track versions of its mid-engine V8 models since the 360 Challenge Stradale 15 years ago.
Ferrari 458 Italia reset almost every measurement bar one could apply to a high-performance sports car. Editors at Motor Trend magazine wrote: “The 458 Italia surrounds you so completely with its talent, it almost feels an organic extension of your senses… This Ferrari turns mere mortals like you and me into driving gods.”
Ferrari says the development goal for their 488 Pista was not simply to post astounding track performance stats, but to replicate the feel and “emotion” of driving a Ferrari 488 Challenge and championship-winning 488 GTE racecars.
