This year’s Salon Retromobile Exhibition is a five day event composed of a sprawling auto show and three of the most prestigious auctions of automobiles and automobilia. Maserati would issue its mid-engine supercar, the 1971 Bora, four years after the Miura went into production. Production continued until 1978. Mechanically advanced, well-built, and well-marketed, it remained in production largely unchanged for almost twenty years. With over 8,000 chassis produced, this noble 6-cylinder put the budding luxury marque on the map and cemented their reputation for quality.

With low-estimates at or above one million dollars on 25 separate vehicles including a vintage Mercedes promising to bring over ten million, RM Sotheby’s catalogue leads the pack in Arizona.
