You can own the car that took on Ferrari…and has attracted owner like Sir Paul McCartney. This missed 1968 Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 is offered at no reserve by Bonhams at its Amelia Island auction on March 3. It’s a left-hand-drive version estimated to sell for $250k-$300k.
Six auction houses are featured, showcasing cars from 1924 to 1941. Marques such as Cadillac, Rolls-Royce, Duesenberg, Auburn, La Salle, Oldsmobile, Buick, and Hispano-Suiza are among the cars up for auction.
Supercar highlights this year include a McLaren Senna, Saleen S7, three Ford GT’s,two McLaren 650’s a SRT Viper GTS, and a Dodge Viper at the 49th edition of Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale.
An offering of European and American iron are heading to Santa Monica, California for the Auctions America stage that will take place in the Barker Hangar on July 17th and 18th.
