This weekend is Bonhams Festival of Speed Auction in Chichester, Goodwood in the UK. While the Premier team will not be in the country for the auction, we are still curious what happens in the exotic, vintage and highline industry, near and far. On Friday, June 30, 1953, workers at the Chevrolet plant in Flint, Michigan, assembled the first Corvette, a two-seater sports car that would become an American icon. The first completed production car rolled off the assembly line two days later, one of just 300 Corvettes made that year.
This weekend the New England Region Ferrari Club of America welcomes the Concorso Ferrari and Friends on LaSalle Road in West Hartford, Connecticut.
