The gauntlet has been thrown down, and now the $274,390 price tag for the Huracán Performante looks even more enticing.

A report published in Bloomberg early this month speculated that we might soon see the world’s most expensive auction car at perhaps $100 million – a very special Ferrari 275 GTB. The 1965 Ferrari GTB/C Speciale was a race version of Ferrari’s fabulous mid-’60s berlinetta, and one of the three made, chassis No. 06885.
