On the 2014 Texas 1000, two rallyists from Santa Fe suggested that Jean and I organize one of our Vintage Rallies in New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. So we did. Our first Southwest Passage was so overbooked that our crew had to stay in a separate hotel when we ran out of rooms.

The New England 1000 which is put on by Vintage Rallies, is an all-inclusive event with luxury hotels, gourmet restaurants, and fun things to see and do. Everything is handled for you, including luggage, experienced mechanics and free loaner sports cars if your rally car breaks.
The Going to the Sun Rally was founded in 2005 as a 40 member vintage car rally and coordinated the first five-day journey across Montana and into Canada. Since, the rally has been well attended by US and European drivers. Going to the Sun Rally is celebrating its tenth year, continuing to provide a fun and picturesque rally experience while raising money for organizations in Montana.
Each year a new route covers 1,000 miles of beautiful desert, river valleys and alpine landscape throughout the state of Arizona and beyond. Rally-goers have a deep sense of comradery and each year the community seems to expand and strengthen. The memories and friendships made are a large part of Copperstate’s repeat rally devotees, along with the charities the rally supports.
