Premier has a team in attendance at the Auctions and Concours this year, including Mitch Katz, Doug Ewing, Keith Neelans and Christopher Warren.
The Breakers Hotel welcomed the roar of contemporary and vintage Ferrari’s to their quiet island for this year’s Cavallino Classic. Parking difficulties are always a great way to judge the crowd and we were hard-pressed to find a spot. All spaces were filled with Ferrari’s, Bentley’s, Lamborgini’s and so on. Restaurants and bars were full of great stories of Ferrari’s. As always, Palm Beach never disappoints.
This was a special year for Texas 1000 in many ways. We had wonderful cars, starting with Martin Gruss’s 1933 Alfa Romeo Castagna-bodied 1750 Gran Sport, Miles Collier’s 1953 Cunningham C-3 Coupe, Jim Earsley’s 1953 Jaguar XK-120, George Baron’s 1958 Alfa Giulietta Sprint Veloce and Tem McElroy’s 1963 Porsche 356 Cabriolet.
